Kateřina Kotasová studied social policy and social work at  the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague. She has been working in the non-profit sector for over 20 years, and in foundations in the Czech Republic for 18 years. In 2016, she joined Avast’s corporate endowment fund as a program manager, and she currently holds the same position in the Abakus family foundation, which took over the ten-year operation of the Avast Foundation. Kateřina Kotasová is engaged in the development and implementation of programs ​​supporting families with children with medical disabilities. She is especially dedicated to the area of ​​needs mapping for these families, and identifying suitable tools that help fulfill those needs expediently and systematically.

 

Eva Černá, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Homesharing Coordinator of the Rodinné Integrační centrum z.s. (Family Integration Centre)
As a graduate of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, Eva Černá was professionally engaged in the management of research projects in the field of medical application development. After a child with an autism spectrum disorder entered her life, she began to focus on opportunities to support families with children with autism. In 2016, she started working with the Rodinné Integrační centrum z.s. (Family Integration Centre) as a fundraiser. Since 2019 she has been involved in the organization’s Homesharing project, in which she currently works as a coordinator (expert partner to the Abakus foundation), and also as a mentor for other organizations that are introducing homesharing services in the Czech Republic.
